Recently I've gotten involved in an online chat forum by the name of realms roleplay at [link] and just very recently met a character in there that managed to get my artistic juices pumping.

Her name is Haitani, a shamanistic warrior with a penchant for living on the more, shall we say, moral side of life. Her spells are nature defined and focus around the basic elements of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Cold, and Flora (plants). As such she has magical spells that assist her, much like a druid, in her day to day life. Aside from that she's also a blacksmith and her first job was that of a warrior.

The moment I met her, I asked her permission to draw her character and the result is what you see here. I'm quite impressed with how it came out and although the hair was colored by my fiancee the rest was done by me.

Basic info about picture: Haitani is casting a freezing ball as someone casts a magic missile spell at her. Ignoring the damage to her shirt she blocks one of the spells with her sword and hopes that her wooden armor can absorb most of the impact from the spell should she be hit in a vital area.
